不同聲音的英文表達

如何用英文表示不同的聲音？在中文中，我們形容聲音一般只會講雷聲，鈴聲之類的，但是在英文中，不同的物體發出的聲音都會有特定的詞匯，是不是很有趣呢？

• Ring：the sound of a telephone

e.g  I heard the phone rang.

我聽見電話響了

• Rumble : the sound of distant noise of thunder or traffic far away

e.g I heard the rumble of the distant thunder.

我聽見遠處雷聲隆隆。

• Rustle: the sound of opening a paper or plastic bag

e.g  You can see what was making the rustle in the undergrowth.  你能看到什麼在灌木叢裡發出沙沙的聲音。

• Clang /klæŋ/  : the sound of a big bell ringing or a hollow metal object being struck

e.g He pulled the gate to with a clang.他響聲很大地拉開了門。

• Crash : the sound of a big,solid,heavy object falling onto a hard floor

e.g The tree fell with a great crash.

這棵樹嘩啦一聲倒了。

• Chime /tʃaɪm/ :the sound of a big public clock on a building sounding the hour

e.g He heard the front doorbell chime.

他聽見前門的門鈴響了。
