9. To Beard The Lion
抓住獅子的鬍鬚(撒母耳記上17:35)
意思:面對危險,冒生命危險
典故:大衛做牧童的時候曾經為了救一隻羊,抓住獅子的鬍鬚,把羊救出來。

10. An Eye For Eye, Tooth For Tooth
以眼還眼,以牙還牙(出埃及記21:24)
意思:對應地報復對方

機智的盡頭(詩篇107:27)
意思:束手無策

13. The Blind Leading The Blind
瞎子引導瞎子(馬太福音15:14)
意思:由無能的人領導一群烏合之眾,最終必定失敗
典故:耶穌的金句

14. The Apple Of One’s Eye
眼中的瞳仁(申命記32:10)
意思:非常寶貴和重視,必定小心呵護。注意,這裡的apple並不是蘋果。
典故:上帝說他會這樣愛惜他的子民

16. To Have Scales Fall From One’s Eyes
有鱗片似的東西從眼睛裡掉下來(使徒行傳9:18)
意思:突然看清楚
典故:掃羅被弄瞎了,一個基督徒用醫治他,當時有鱗片似的東西從掃羅眼睛裡掉下來,他就看得見了。於是掃羅成為基督徒,後來名叫保羅。
